Ashley McGinn
Lead Stylist / Owner
Originally born in Utah then raised in small town Gunnison, CO, Ashley decided to moved to Fort Collins with her husband and two dogs in 2015 to begin a new adventure. They had their son in 2018 and settled down in Windsor in 2020. Over the years Ashley grew her passion for the beauty industry and spent hours getting extra education. This drive helped her find her specialty in modern balayage and blonding techniques. Ashley takes pride in her attention to detail and thoroughness in her craft.
In 2020 Ashley was nominated Top 30 under 30 in the industry by Beauty Launch Pad. In 2022 she was nominated Top 100 in the world’s most prestigious hair competition, One Shot Hair Awards. Over 80 countries participate and there hundreds of thousands of entries. She placed in Brunettes, Reds, and Platinum. She then placed Top 25 in the Blondes Category. In 2023 she was nominated Top 100 again in Brunettes, Blondes, Platinum, Long Haircut, & Bob/Lob.
Ashley is an introvert with a very social job, so she loves when she gets to relax outside, visit the hot springs, or head up to the mountains. She’s also a big foodies so an amazing dinner paired with a movie night at home is her favorite way to end the day. Ashley has very limited availability for new clients and recommends booking a consultation to get in on her books.
Marisa Helenihi
Level 3 Stylist
Marisa was born and spent most of her childhood in Hawaii before moving to Northern Colorado. She began her passion in the beauty industry in 2018 and has fallen in love with creating “lived-in” brunette looks as well as bright blondes. Marisa is certified in the Bello Haven Hand-Tied Hair Extensions Method and loves doing bold hair extension transformations. One of her favorite things about the industry is the ability to boost her clients’ confidence to make them look and feel more beautiful. When she’s not in the salon, you’ll catch Marisa lost in the moment at a concert, sipping matcha at a local coffee shop, or finding new adventures to explore.
Allison Sonstegard
Level 3 Stylist
Allison was born and raised in a large family in Windsor, CO. After graduating from Aveda Insitute, Allison went through a year long apprenticeship. Alli specializes in creating low maintance brunettes, fun coppers, and natural looking blondes. When Alli isn’t working behind the chair, she loves to spend her time outside hiking, around a bonfire, or at a concert. She also loves doing make-up for weddings and events and is Clover and Pine’s lead make-up artist!
Katie Markvicka
Level 2 Stylist
After graduating cosmetology school in 2021, Katie moved to Fort Collins from Nebraska to enjoy the outdoors and be closer to family. She apprenticed under Ashley to advance her skills and grow her passion for modern coloring techniques for all of 2022. She is now taking new clients as well as helping Ashley manage her current clientele. Katie has become Ashley’s second set of hands so if you’re not able to get in on Ashley’s books, Katie is your girl!
